Responsibilities
Working closely with our team of optometrists, opticians, support staff, and management to ensure patient satisfaction and growth of the practice.
Helping patients choose the perfect frames that suit their unique style and needs.
Dispensing completed eyewear and ensuring glasses are adjusted with care, to provide both comfort and optimal vision.
Verifying prescriptions with a lensometer
Proficient at frame repairs and adjustments
Using EMR systems for inputting and tracking jobs, invoicing and taking payments
Plus there is room to grow…
Performing vision tests including visual fields, retinal photography and scans with confidence and precision.
Teaching patients to wear and care for contact lenses.
Requirements
Previous optical sales experience
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and able to multitask efficiently
Open to learning and adapting to new procedures
Previous experience working at an optometric office is an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
Hands-on mentorship training will be provided to all new employees.
Salary negotiable based on your level of education and years of experience.
