Reminder Notice : 2027 License Renewals
The 2027 License Renewals will be done online through the opticianry.ca portal effective October 1, 2026.
Registrants must complete their renewal online through the Member Hub (Member Login) – Opticianry.ca – Member Hub. Log in to your profile using the user ID and password provided to you by the OOM and complete the step-by-step renewal process.
All 2027 renewals must be completed on or before November 01, 2026. Any renewals received after November 01 will be subject to late fees, licenses will lapse as of Jan 1, 2027, and a reinstatement fee will be charged after that time.
Payment can be made via credit card online. You can choose option ‘other’ if you are paying by cheque, e-transfer or if payment is to be made by your employer.
Your receipt will be available in the Member Hub – kindly check 15 business days after the renewal application is submitted and licence fees are paid.
Those who are required to provide an updated Passport Photo will need to drop off or mail it in to the OOM office at 215-1080 Portage Ave, Winnipeg MB, R3G 3M3. Criminal Record Checks and Professional Liability Insurance Certificates can be emailed to oom@optm.ca.
Your renewal will be processed only after completion of all information, documents, and receipt of fees.
